4 cylinder and auto? Do you know any of the details? Looks fairly straight from the pics.

I can only tell what the wind shield says
It appears to be a last New Years eve impound by the OCPD.
Because of the black strip molding? My bet is its a pre 90 4 plugger

It will no doubt need a lot of work.
It will never be a show car but it might be ok for a daily driver.
or a great parts car.

It's not for everyone.
My bet is it will go for less than 360 dollars. tho

I know at the jan 5th auction this year. I beat a fellow club member at the same auction

I won't make the auction wednesday since I have to work.
But, than I only like 8 plugger 4 cyl any way

They do allow looking at them up close the day of the auction.

Ray, a 4 banger would be great transportation for you. Unless this is a decently running car, I wouldn't even consider it. You have the tools and place to work on it perferably undercover. A garage is not a necessity but it makes things alot easier. I rebuilt the engine in my first car (67 Fastback 289 4 barrel, 4 speed)when I was your age. We did it in the driveway. At the time, my folks had a gravel drive way and no garage so it can be done. However, I had my dad right there guiding me which was a huge help. He didn't do much of the wrenching, just guided me and answered questions, etc. One of the grea-*test*-('") summers of my life. Keep working hard and save some money and you will get what you are looking for. cool.gif
