im not trying to be an a--hole but a full package "w/ undercarraige" would cost way more than slightly damaged heads are worth (to me) plus you would need to supply a lift. i know most of the used PI heads ive seen run about $200-$400 with no damage. how much are you wanting for the heads, cash? any idea what it would cost to have them repaired? also, when you say "Jim", you're talking about SWTuning Jim, right?

our "full" package consists of a shampoo (carpets/mats/upholstery); dust and clean all vents, cracks and crevices; clean and treat all vinyl; clean and treat all leather (if applicable); all glass cleaned "streak free"; clean and dry all jams; thorough hand wash of exterior; engine bay degreased, press. washed and dried (dressed if needed); wheels, tires and wheel wells cleaned; polish exhaust tips, etc.; and an orbital compound, polish and wax. theres really more to it than that but you get the idea... two guys and upwards of 5 hours of work!

this "full" package runs around $300 on a small car (Mustang), depending on the condition of the vehicle. "high speed" polishing is based on condition and also varies in price. undercarriage would be an additional charge based on condition and what you want done and as mentioned would require the use of a lift.

let me know what you want or can do... i could use some PI heads!! biggrin.gif

ok after readin what all goes into the detail, maybe just a reg outside and inside detail would be goos. jim (swtuning) said it would be an easy fix on the heads, and would need a little bit of metal welded back into them and then smoothed over. i would think they would be atleast worth $150. but i dont know what the going rate is. if we can work this out for a good detail, id throw in the stock intake also, but it doesnt have the aluminum water jacket. anyways let me know!

Hopefully, this will be another success story of barter/trading out parts on the OMC forum.

Robert, What would you charge to give our 2001 Ford Windstar a basic cleaning under the hood and the interior? We will be selling it in about two months, but I don't want to put too much in it. If anyone knows someone interested in a minivan, this is a good one. It will still have about 10k miles left on it's bumper to bumper warranty too, which is transferrable to the new owner. It's a SE Sport edition and is silver with gray interior with all the bells and whistles minus the DVD player. It will have around 72-73k miles on it by then.
