I thought that was a great thing to have a strong majority of the members support this. Curtis' speech was really good...maybe he should run for a political office! I could have predicted who would oppose it. I tried to be as kind and explanatory as I could about why we should do this. Yet the same group opposed it for who knows what reasons. Stubborn and rufusing to allow the club to change with the times. It's just like Dale's comments on the Tuesday night monthly dinners. It's convenient for the retired folks but no one else. Hmmm...guess who opposed the helmet purchase?

Curtis was really preaching to the choir. I knew it would pass easily, but was amazed at the aginners.

For most in the club, OMC does not stand for "Old Mans Club" This Only applies to some not willing to change with the times

I am sorry I was unable to attend and her Reverend Curtis' moving sermon. I am happy to see that the majority believes there is more to the OMC than just car shows.

This is an indicator that some of the members and ideals have changed in the past few years. This measure never would have passed 2-3 years ago. Congrats to the member who stepped up and supported this.
