Well my wife and I just bought our first Mustang. It is a 2003 GT. It is Redfire color, dark charcoal leather interior, polished Bullitt wheels, and the all important 5 speed!!! biggrin.gif It is a blast to drive. I'll try and post pictures soon.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the herd.

I still remember when I bought my first mustang back in high school. The year was 1981 but that is a story for another time. biggrin.gif

Enjoy your new Stallion!

Thanks for the comments. Yeah I really like the color. It took a while to find one that had the right combination, of exterior, interior color, and of course the GT w/5sp. That and to only have 29K miles is just an added bonus.

On another note. What mufflers did Ford put on the GT's from the factory? Were they aftermarket ones or something from Ford?

They were probably made by a vendor like many parts are but not considered aftermarket. There are many different exhaust combo you can do depening on your personal tastes. The best way to determine what is right for you is to hear them in person. Our next OMC meeting is 1/27 and as long as the weather is nice you could probably persue any of us to start out cars up for you. If you want to go the inexpensive route, you could always just buy some different muffs and have them welded into the existing catback. Most will buy an aftermarket catback which includes new 2.5" piping and new tips. biggrin.gif

Borla, Bassani, Magnaflow, Blowmaster, Mac, and SLP all make catbacks for your car. It all depends on what sound you are looking for and how deep your pockets are.

Well it has Flowmaster Mufflers on it now. They were on there when I bought it. I was just curious because it doesn't sound too much different than other 4.6L that I've heard. So I was just curious if maybe Ford used an aftermarket company for their mufflers. Where is the meeting on 1/27? I would really like to meet some of the people in the club.
