I have no problem with having boosted applications. However, it appears that they are moving towards a FI V6 for standard GTs with only the speciality (read overpriced) Mustangs. Unless they are unable to meet the C.A.F.E. standards with a NA V8 and believe the only way to do this is with fewer cylinders and a blower. It has been my experience that V6s don't get that much better mpg than a V8 in Mustangs. I really hope the Hurricane series of engines is produced.

My 05 gets 31 mpg highway with 87 octane and the 98 gets 26 mpg highway on 91 octane.

That is excellent mileage for an auto V8. My Mach got 29 on a trip to Kansas right after I got it (stock tires/gears). It still gets around 20 of combined driving with 4.10s and other goodies. biggrin.gif
