Hi, my name is Mike and I live in Mustang, but I don't own one. I used to have an '84 1/2 GT350, but I didn't have the time and money to do it right so I sold it. Now I've got a '70 Cougar. My youngest boy is hoping for a Fox body or '60's pony for his high school project. He's taking small engine repair next semester, which is required to get into Mustang's auto shop class.

Here's a picture of my Cougar. If you're ever in Mustang you might see it around.

Fun in Oklahoma- 04-17-2007
Hello All - My name is Jeff Toney - Sadly I no longer have a Mustang but feel I can be of great help to the club. Feel free to contact me with ideas.

I did have a 1965 Mustang convertible but my Step Daughter totaled it (thankfully she was not seriously hurt - at least not until I got hold of her).

I have built several street rods (the old cars we used to find in the pastures) and have been car crazy all my life. I have raced several different types of vehicles over the years.

I built the first indoor r/c car race track in Oklahoma City (Race Place), promoted the Big "King of the Streets Nationals" race in the streets of downtown OKC, built OMC Oklahoma Motorsports Complex in Norman along with a couple of partners, owned Racing Enterprises Inc. was was involved in many racing and race track ventures, built MotorSportNews (a hugely successful web site), a couple of online City newspapers, and a few other crazy things.

I am currently building the "Fun in Oklahoma" site to generate exposure to the general population because articles like the one in the Oklahoman are far and few between although in recent years they are getting a lot better about coverage. In addition I am building a new Racing and Car site based solely on Oklahoma. Both these new sites will far exceed the past and will provide a tremendous amount of coverage for motor sports.

Other than a few accomplishments that others have really liked, I am just an ol' guy trying to help make a difference and have some fun while doing it.

Thanks
Jeff Toney

Another newbie here!!!

I am Mike, live here in Edmond-met one of your guys at one of the SVToa events last year at the OK County police track-red cobra I think?! Been in the SVT arena for a while as I have a 2003 SVT Focus, and a 2004 Lightining. Just got my 07 Shelby GT500 a few weeks ago (month ago by now!). Figured I'd join up with you guys since you seem a little more organized (in the OKC area anyway). Besides, it looks like your big car show will be a huge hit this weekend-hope to make it down for a while on Saturday. I'll try to meet a few of you guys over the weekend if ya'll aren't too busy work ing the show!!

Mike
2003 SVT Focus-Jackson Racing supercharged
2004 Lighting-Sonic Blue (420rwhp)
2007 Shelby GT500 stock (for now)

Hi everybody. My name is Richard and I joined the forum this week and had forgotten to introduce myself. I joined the OMC last November and have made every meeting (except the Christmas party) since. Really enjoyed working the auction and the Nationals. It was great to get to know more of the guys and gals in the club. I worked outside of registration at the Nationals directing the drivers to their parking spots. The great thing about that job is that I got to see every car in one spot and talk to nearly every owner. After registration I was fortunate to be able to help Dave at the DJ booth. That was a lot of fun! Looking forward to being more involved and meeting more folks.

My wife, Cindi, and I have a 2007 GT. Haven't done anything special to it yet, but stripes and louvers, but plan to do some mods in the future.

Hi all, I'm Sandy, the crazy racing girl from the Sheriff's track day. GIRLS RULE!!!
Hi REX!! Love my 03 GT, looking to buy Fox body to race (extremely jealous of Buck's)
Bought a new helmet, too. Thanks to Shannon for putting this together, and Rob for encouraging me all the time. If it weren't for Rob I would have left the Stampede in 06, went home and never figured out I won third place that day. I needed a hobby, so I decided Mustangs had to be it. Have added OK Territorial Marshall to my resume, pretty sweet! On top of my regular 40 (grpahic designer), teach computer classes at night, show and race my GT, now I get to track missing people and bad guys. Life is good when you own a Mustang!!
