Hello,

My name is Scott Adkins.

My first mustang was a 88 GT. I traded that in, with 300k+ miles, on a new 98 Cobra. Sold the cobra.

Today, I own a 95 GT (daily driver), 65 Fastback project, and a 70 sportsroof project.

The 95 has a stock 5.0. It has 17x9 & 17x10.5 wheels, MAC 3" exhaust (sounds redneck but I Love it =) ), lowering springs, & a S281 wing. The car is old and worn but still drives good.

The 65 is a restomod project. It has a Mustang II front suspension, 20 gallon (1970) fuel tank conversion, 2005 mustang seats covered in TMI's pony conversion, & lowering springs.

Wheels and tires are boyd coddington Junkyard Dogs; 18x7 fronts & 20x10 rears. They are tucked nicely. Rear frames have been narrowed 4" a side to fit the tires. Car sits like a road racer.

Engine is a 427 Windsor stroker. I'm disappointed with the numbers; it only dynoed at 440hp / 480lb/ft torque. Boyd's at Norman did the engine work for me, I can't say enough good things about them. Thanks again to Boyd's. Transmission is a TKO600. Rearend is a narrowed 9" with detroit locker and disc brake conversion.

I am still waiting on body work and paint.
I hope to have pics of this car soon.

The 70 is still in project design =). It's an L code 6banger car.

Hope to meet you guys soon.

Hello everyone I'm John Chronister. I don't have a Mustang yet, but my wife and I are starting to look for one here in the next few months. I would consider myself a car nut, I really love muscle cars. I have to say that I am partial to Camaro's, but I love Mustangs too. I have a 89 Iroc-Z that I just bought a few months ago to do a little work on and hopefully have fun doing it! Ha ha ! I live in Noble and manage the hardware store that my family owns and runs. I have been to the website before, and have seen a lot of the cool pics from the shows. Have even talked to a few of the members at the Eureka Springs, AR show that my wife and I try to attend each year. Hopefully this year we can take a mustang of our own! biggrin.gif Well I've talked long enough. I'm glad to be a member here and look forward to talking to you all soon! Have a great day.

Welcome to the board. Nice to have you hear. Do you ever make it out to TV? A group of us goes out there several times a year usually on Friday night's TNT. You should bring your IROC out so we can beat up on it. biggrin.gif

Most recently, we were there at the end of October for the Buick vs Ford shootout. We have a good time out there.

We generally post up on here that we will be going. Check it out and come out and meet up with us. cool.gif

Well my Iroc is in no condition to be competetive. I bought it to fix up, so it needs some TLC. It has sat for 2 years, and the elements have done a number on it. Paint faded, interior sun faded, cracked, and broken. It runs but not well. Haven't really had the time to mess with it yet. too many house projects.

Yeah I saw all the cars going through town on that weekend. I would like to come out there next time if I'm off. However the Iroc will probably be at home! lol!
