The spring compressing tool you'll need should be available at Auto Zone or Oreilleys or maybe even Napa.
You might want to talk to a wheel alignment man that is warm to the idea of doing an alignment. The wheel alignment person will need to have a special tool to work on it. However there is away around it if you can get him to give you a hand full of shims.
These shims are easy to put in when there is no spring pressure.
Other wise it requires the special tool plus about 3 guys to use it.
Two big guys to press down on the fender while a little guys crawls under and places shims in place. An almost impossible task at best.
Thus its better to put in to many than not enuff.
than let the wheel alignment sort it out.
