Yea I am pretty sure it was a 4 cylindar auto. As for it running I am not sure.

But just last friday at http://www.arrowwrecker.com/_mgxroot/page_10493.html
I saw an 87 go for 100 bucks It said on the windshield that it needed a starter But, the body was straight and the color was red instead of Burgandy and it was a hatchback.

Personally I think it would be cost prohibitive to just fix it.
Rather it would be better to find another the same year with a BLOWN motor or tranny and then combine the two.
With a little patience you may even find the right color.

other places for auctions are as follows.

http://www.barrys-auction.com/schedule.htm

The ones I have listed so far are for anyone with a driver licence can bid on cars.
However, there is one that only people with a dealers licence can get into.
Thus I never been to this one since I have no dealers licence.
Maybe some one in the club does?

Good info Daysleepin. A Fox is definitely in my future. I am just not so sure how far into the future. My wife would kill me if I came home with another Mustang. I did buy a 81 5.0 GLX about 2 years ago. I only gave a couple hundred for it and was in pretty nice shape. Engine was blown but had a good t-5 (which is all that I wanted at the time). Parted the rest out and made a little bit and gave the roller to a buddy to build a racer out of.
