Not off hand but, your question might have a better chance on a more National type of board such as this one.

You might try on both the Classic 64 thru 73 as well as the Mustang II board

A national Mustang board here, click me

I put 17" torque thrust II's with 235/45 tires and have had no problems. My mustang is lowered 1" also. For best results I would roll the front fenders. Hope this helps.

I have put 17" Heritage wheels from a Mach 1 on my 68. You need a wheel adapters due to the backspace but was not any problem with clearance. Mine is stock height. Mustangs of that era have a lot of wheel well space and the 17 tires are lower profile than the 14s that were on it.

Won't that throw off your mileage guage with a lower profile tire?

Sure it will. Anytime you change wheel, tire, or gear size it will affect how accurate your speedometer reads. The speedometer on my 68 is not very accurate as it sits so being off a bit didn't bother me. I usually don't drive much over 60 anyway. With a 4 speed and 3.50 rear, it runs about 3500 rpm at 70 mph, so it is a more pleasant drive at 60 or 65. biggrin.gif
