I am wanting to put a 351 in my 68. Here is my problem. The engine casting is C9OE-6015-B7 which indicates a 69. I need the water inlet on the passenger side and it is on the drivers side. Can I just bolt on a 69 Mustang water pump to correct this. I belive this has a 1970 water pump on it . Any ideas

I'm only good on 79+ Mustangs. Soryy...

I'm not sure if you can just change the water pump, or if you have to change the timing cover also. I will try to find out.
